 SPEAKER: February 25, 2010 : Col Speed Wilson, Marine combat pilot in WWII (Pacific), Korea & Viet Nam: “World War II, Victory Gained,  Korean War, Victory Denied”

 

November Meeting Summary: Kenneth Koller, Navigator-bombardier 13th Air Force; reviewed his military career starting with ROTC at Akron U. through Maxwell AFB preflight school to Bates Field ( of which there is no historical record) to Radar Bombing school near Boca Raton to Instructors school at Randolph Field and to his last stateside station at Alamogordo. In August 1945 he was a navigator in a B24 squadron based on Morotai.
